The role of Sandi Vito in the economy of Pennsylvania
The government of Pennsylvania has managed to make changes in its state largely owing to the efforts of Sandi Vito. Sandi Vito is currently the Secretary for Industry and Labour in the state of Pennsylvania. At the time the current governor of the state came to power, the state was facing stagnation in industrial growth and the creation of high quality job opportunities for its citizens. Governor Rendell was appointed to office in the year 2003 and he chose Sandi Vito as the principle worker in his administration to look into matters regarding growth in the state.
Sandi Vito had formed committees to look into the factors that were affecting the industrial growth of the state. Data was collected from various sources and after thoroughly making an analysis of the situation, the Job Ready PA programme was chosen to help people in the state of Pennsylvania have quality jobs and receive the training they needed in order to reach their full market potential. The Job Ready PA package was designed to help rebuild the state’s economic and educational foundation so that it could be more conducive to industrial growth and development. This package isolated $5 million for the creation of new Industry Partnerships and$15 million for training workers in the targeted industry clusters.
This programme operated by Sandi Vito proved to be highly effective in managing a more inter-connected economy where various industries were constantly collaborating on various projects.
