Asbestos Causes Lung Cancer
Asbestos has ever been popular in the world in the early 19th to late 20th century. Asbestos is a fibrous mineral that usually found in shipbuilding industry, construction and consumer goods manufacture. Today, asbestos has been prohibited by most countries in the world; despite some countries like China, Russia, Canada and Brazil still dig the ground to mine it.
Asbestos was prohibited because it causes a deadly lung cancer. The statistic found that approximately 100.000 people die or will die because of asbestos and lung cancer. Mostly, they are former workers who have ever been exposed the fibrous mineral for a long time. Lung cancer caused by asbestos could not be found quickly because the symptoms of the disease would be shown after decades. That is why, if you or your relatives have chance to the Asbestos Lung Cancer because they have ever worked in such industries above, it is better to have some medical checkup.
However, we do not have to worry because Asbestos Lung Cancer can be cured as long as the patients are still on the early stage. Most patients died because they found the diagnosis have reached a late stage. There treatments purposed for Mesothelioma or lung cancer asbestos; however, it depends on the patient’s condition, location of the tumor and many other related factors.
